MLB Network to Debut Revolutionary Real-Time Tracking on Tuesday

IF you are someone who likes to watch the MLB Gameday on a regular basis, you’re in for a treat. Starting tomorrow, MLB and fantasy baseball fans will have an opportunity to view a live game like never. Why? Statcast will be making it’s television debut during Tuesday’s game between the Cardinals and Nationals at 7 p.m. ET.

This revolutionary system will give you the details of how fast the ball travels after a Bryce Harper HR, how much ground George Springer must cover to make a catch, among many other stats and metrics. Sound familiar? That’s because MLB tested the technology during All Star game and MLB playoffs last year.

However, beginning Tuesday night, the groundbreaking technology will be incorporated into every MLB Network Showcase game. To learn more about the new MLB Real-Time tracking technology, please visit the official MLB website, MLB.com.
